Welcome to Bevalcentrum Oost

Our birthing rooms at the Oost location offer a safe alternative to a hospital outpatient birth, in a warm, home-like environment, for anyone who cannot or does not wish to give birth at home.

Both the Beach Suite and the Mountain Suite have a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. Each room is equipped with a birthing pool, a private bathroom, soft lighting, aroma therapy and the option to play music. Here you can read more about how these facilities work and their positive influence on your labour.

At this location, you can also use medical nitrous oxide as a safe form of pain relief and relaxation in the final phase of your labour.

Location at OLVG Oost

Bevalcentrum Amsterdam Oost is located in the Anna Pavilion at OLVG Oost.
If a medical indication arises during your labour in one of our birthing suites, you may be transferred to the hospital department. Please note, however, that there is no guarantee of availability. As with our other locations, it may therefore be necessary to transfer you to another hospital. Your midwife will take the lead in this process and will do her best to ensure the transfer runs as smoothly as possible.
